A little about ourselvesAndy Iakobson’s Goldfinch Grow-Op* is a tiny farming project focused on growing tasty and unique veg!
Andy’s plot at the EOC is home to a collection of heirloom vegetables that are both funny-looking and seriously delicious. Many of these crops are grown from seed, and start their lives in a midtown Toronto apartment closet. Andy also cultivates four garlic varieties (Russian, Sicilian, Persian and Khabar), and is hoping to raise livestock in the future. Andy sells (and trades) fresh veg, preserves, seeds and seedlings directly to friends, family, co-workers and other interested parties over the Goldfinch Grow-Op Facebook page.
